Kathryne D’Souza is an experienced litigator with a focus on insurance litigation. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2006 and to the Ontario Bar in 2010. Since then, Kathryne has represented clients in a wide range of matters including complex disability claims, accident benefits disputes, tort motor vehicle accident (MVA) claims, and occupiers’ liability cases.

Kathryne has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO). She has conducted hundreds of mediations and numerous arbitrations, demonstrating a strong ability to navigate both informal and formal dispute resolution processes. In addition, she has represented clients at examinations under oath and has extensive experience conducting examinations for discovery.

Known for her thorough preparation and practical approach, Kathryne effectively manages complex files while providing strategic and results-oriented advocacy.

Outside of her legal practice, Kathryne enjoys travelling, is an avid downhill skier, a committed Masters swimmer, and enjoys walking her dog.
